Over the past three years, the sown area of agricultural crops has increased from 368 thousand hectares to 405 thousand hectares. The increase was 37 thousand hectares.
The spring sowing of agricultural crops increased from 313 thousand hectares to 354 thousand hectares (by 41 thousand hectares), the sown area of leguminous crops was 333 thousand hectares, which is 13.3 thousand hectares more than the previous year.
The area of oilseeds was 13.3 thousand hectares (an increase of 3.5 thousand hectares).
Crops of old-aged perennial grasses are updated annually.
The area of planting potatoes and vegetables remains at the level of previous years.
Despite the difficult climatic conditions, with an average yield of 12 quintals per hectare, 381 thousand tons of grain were collected.
