Today, our state has embarked on the construction of a post-industrial society, the concept of which is the information society – a new historical phase of the development of civilization. Its main products are information and knowledge. The distinctive features of the information society are:
* increasing the role of information and knowledge in society;
• increasing share of information communications, products and services in gross domestic product;
* creating a global information space that provides: effective information interaction of people; their access to the world's information resources; meeting their needs for information products and services.
One of the priorities of the state program for education development for 2010-2020 is the Informatization of the secondary education system. The Department of education has developed a plan of measures for Informatization and computerization of educational organizations until 2020, which includes sections such as equipping with computer equipment, effective use of computers, use of Internet services, opening websites, introduction of ADSL technology, computer literacy of teachers, and professional development of teachers.
There are only 4 innovative schools, 12 comprehensive schools, and 2 boarding schools in the city's education system. Every year the number of computers in educational organizations increases. In 2004, the number of computers in the city's schools was 457 machines, in 2005 – 517 computers, in 2006 – 659, in 2007 - 709 machines, in 2008 – 1065, in 2009 - 1173, in 2010 – 1223, on 01.09.2011 – 1463 machines, in 2012 – 1689, in 2013 – 1717, 2014 – 2017 machines. Taking into account the purchase of new computers, the number of students per 1 computer was 5.2 people.
All educational organizations are computerized. All secondary schools are equipped with computer science classrooms in accordance with the regulations on computer science classrooms developed by the regional Institute for advanced training. There are 27 computer science classrooms in the city's schools. The average workload of these classrooms in schools is 59 hours per week: 34 hours of training sessions, the workload of additional classes: 10 hours of clubs, 10 hours of courses for students, 3 hours of courses for teachers.
In order to introduce new information technologies into the educational process, the Department of education regularly acquires educational and information programs on electronic media.
In the offices of Informatics of city schools created educational-methodical complex – there are different methodological literature, didactic materials for teachers that provides an opportunity substantially to improve the content and form of the educational process.
A number of schools have organized online clubs where students can Supplement their knowledge on Saturdays and Sundays, during the holidays.
All schools in the city and the Department of education are connected to the Internet, which is widely used by students and teachers in research activities: in preparation for Olympiads, in the development of scientific projects and abstracts, reports in various fields of science. The average weekly Internet usage is 10 hours per week.
Teachers, carriers of knowledge and culture, were and remain pioneers in the implementation of various programs aimed at the prosperity of our country. A teacher of a new formation needs to master new information technologies.
In 14 schools of the city in the gymnasium, Lyceum №2, school №1, school № 4, school №5, W-G, № 7, school № 8, school №9, school № 10, school №15, school №16, school №17 function rooms with multimedia equipment. The information Fund and technical equipment of these classrooms allow teaching students of grades 7-11 Kazakh, Russian, English according to the State standard of education, as well as working on the Internet on all computers, using a graph projector, an interactive whiteboard in the learning process. In the same schools, 60 interactive whiteboards are installed.
In the city's schools, 24 teachers teach computer science, 21 of them have special higher education, 3 - secondary special education. Computer science teachers regularly improve their skills in courses at the IPC, exchange experience, and develop their own author's programs.
Effective use of computer technology provides for the introduction of new information technologies in the educational process, consisting of several parameters: the use of the Internet, the organization of educational work using computer technology, the integration of information disciplines in subjects on the basics of science, the organization of specialized training, clubs, electives, courses, additional educational services.
All secondary schools are equipped with classrooms in accordance with the regulations on the computer science room, developed by the regional Institute for advanced training. This academic year, the number of IVT classrooms is 34.
One of the components of computer performance is the use of Internet services. The Internet has a huge number of sites that are necessary for both teachers and students. Participation in various distance competitions and Olympiads expands the horizons of children and increases their motivation to learn.
To date, we have reached 100% network connectivity. The time spent on the Internet for a week was 10 hours.
The next parameter for effective use of the computer is its use in teaching other disciplines.
First, the Internet has a huge number of search engines that offer a full range of lessons on teaching different subjects, offers students advice by email; second, the computer provides an opportunity to save time, colorfully present demonstration material, etc.
In many schools, computer-based lessons were held during this half-year. These schools have special accumulative folders with the development of such lessons.
Introduction to the educational process of clubs, electives, courses that are aimed at a deeper study of the basics of science, expanding the horizons of students, mastering various programs is also one of the conditions for effective use of computer technology.
