Press release on the overhaul of the republic's electrical networks

Every year from May to September, power transmission organizations carry out major repairs of electric networks according to the approved schedule of major repairs of electric networks. The Committee for Atomic and Energy Supervision and Control of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan constantly monitors the readiness of electric networks for operation in the autumn-winter period. To prepare the electric networks of the unified electric power system of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the autumn-winter period 2024-2025, repairs of power transmission lines with a total length of 20,795,407 km are planned, including: overhead line-500 kV – 812.655 km, overhead line-220 kV – 1543.646 km; Overhead line-110 kV – 3911.318 km; Overhead line-35kV – 3105.971 km; Overhead line-6-10kV – 5855.297 km; Overhead line-0.4 kV – 5207.041 km; CL-6-10kV – 227.971 km; CL-0.4 kV – 131.508 km, as well as substations – 422 pcs.; RP, TP, KTP– 4054 pcs. As of August 15, 2024, 13751.4 km of power transmission lines were repaired, which is 66% of the plan of the year, as well as 278 substation units, which is 66% of the plan of the year and 2325 RP, TP, KTP units, which is 57% of the plan of the year.
