Every year from May to September, power transmission organizations carry out major repairs of electric networks according to the approved schedule of major repairs of electric networks.
The Committee for Atomic and Energy Supervision and Control of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan constantly monitors the readiness of electric networks for operation in the autumn-winter period.
To prepare the electric networks of the unified electric power system of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the autumn-winter period 2024-2025, repairs of power transmission lines with a total length of 20,857 km are planned, including: overhead line-500 kV – 812.655 km, overhead line-220 kV – 1543.646 km;
Overhead line-110 kV – 3900.208 km; Overhead line-35kV – 3273.361 km; Overhead line-6-10 kV – 5921.532 km;
Overhead line-0.4 kV – 4990.606 km; CL-6-10kV – 281.471 km; CL-0.4 kV –
133.208 km, as well as substations – 423 pcs.; RP, TP, KTP– 4057 pcs.
