As part of outreach work among the population, on November 29, 2023, UAPF JSC will hold an Open Day on the topic: State program “National Fund for Children”.
At an online meeting on an open day organized by the UAPF, the Foundation’s specialists will tell participants about the purpose of the “National Fund for Children” project, the mechanism for its implementation and answer questions of interest.
From January 1, 2024, on behalf of the head of state, the “National Fund for Children” project is being launched, within the framework of which 50% of the investment income of the National Fund will be distributed annually among children of all ages under 18 years old. As of October 1, 2023, their number in Kazakhstan is more than 7 million people. In this case, income is averaged over the eighteen years preceding the reporting year. The amounts accrued to children will continue to be invested as part of the assets of the National Fund and additional investment income will be accrued on them.
The main goal of the “National Fund for Children” project is to support the younger generation and provide them with the opportunity to improve their living conditions or get an education using national savings. Thus, Kazakh children will be able to use the funds of the National Fund, which will be accrued to them until they reach adulthood, for 2 purposes: education, including in foreign universities, as well as the purchase of housing.
Until children reach 18 years of age, target requirements and investment income will be accrued without the right of early withdrawal.
