In order to reduce the facts of offenses related to the carrying and carrying of cold weapons, the Aviation transport Prosecutor's office of the city of Almaty constantly conducts preventive measures.

In this regard, in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 30, 1998 "on state control over the circulation of certain types of weapons" »:

- it is forbidden to handle and carry cold, gas weapons, firearms, their main parts, ammunition, explosive devices with the possibility of firing traumatic cartridges without proper permission.

In addition, under part 1 of article 287 of the criminal code provides for criminal liability for illegal possession or sale of knives without permission and is punished with a fine in the amount of two hundred monthly calculation indices, or correctional labor for the same amount, or by community service for a period of up to one hundred eighty hours, or by arrest for a term up to sixty days.

Cold weapons are weapons that purposefully act with the help of human muscle power, that is, they include brass knuckles, clubs, nunchucks, etc.
