My grandfather was born on March 10, 1897 in the village of Bayan in the North Kazakhstan region. A former hero from the village of Bayan, a well-known machine operator and one of the first in our country to receive the order "Badge of Honor" (#231), then was appointed Chairman of the collective farm. My grandfather left many good deeds in memory of his fellow villagers.
My grandfather said that when my grandfather came to us in Guma, there were always a lot of visitors. And suddenly he saw the population's purchases growing and being thrown into the loudspeaker. My grandfather also received the human wave.
When he found out what had happened, it was cold – the war had started. On the same day, in an old big tram, he reached the Kazan railway station, and then for more than a week reached his native village. - "The front needs bread!""
If now the villagers have equipment, while the collective farm plowed 590 hectares of land, it is difficult to believe that he received a large harvest.
Who smells it? Teenagers and women. Therefore, the Chairman of the collective farm "Bayan "in the Presnovsky (now Zhambyl) district was awarded the order of the red banner of Labor. When a movement in aid of the war, my grandfather sold the horse and cow, and for the earned money invested sarcasti preserved in sarcasti, and put 60 thousand rubles for the construction of a tank column.
"... To my tanks made to Berlin," said my grandfather kazmurat.

Sometimes, when still alive, he took a government telegram: "the leadership of the Central Committee of the CPC (b) of Kazakhstan thanks you, comrades Umitbayev, for taking care of the red Army – for the personal storage of your 60 thousand rubles for the construction of a tank column, helps a stronger blow to the German-fascist invaders of the red Army."
My grandfather, Umitbayev Kazhmurat, was awarded the order of the red Star, commemorative medals, and a letter of thanks from I. V. Stalin.currently, all the medals are stored in the Museum of the Shal akyn district of North Kazakhstan region.
My story will be incomplete if my grandfather did not talk about my reliable partner, the granddaughter of my mother-the heroine Nurila, he lived with him in love and harmony. The eldest grandmother always supported, helped with her advice and gave her two sons and three daughters. Now our family has 21 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and one great-grandson Ali.
My grandfather died in 1987 at the age of 90, unfortunately I never saw him because he was born in 1994. I only know our family album from photos, as well as stories about their grandfathers, parents and relatives. I'm proud of my grandfather!
