Targeted notification of Kazakhstanis who have reached retirement age and have not applied for pension savings in the UAPF was carried out.

The UAPF annually, together with the State Corporation "Government for Citizens" (State Corporation), conducts a reconciliation to identify persons who have reached retirement age and have pension savings in the UAPF, while receiving pension payments by age at the expense of budget funds, but did not apply for payment to the UAPF.

According to the results of reconciliation at the beginning of 2023, more than 180 thousand persons of the above category were identified.

It should be noted that identification is complicated by the fact that not all recipients have phone numbers registered with the BMU. In addition, the State Corporation found that more than 57 thousand people left for permanent residence outside the Republic of Kazakhstan, therefore, they do not receive payments from the State Corporation. Among those who did not receive pension savings from the UAPF, there are about a thousand deceased persons whose heirs also did not apply for the payment of pension savings. Another category is persons who have reached the generally established retirement age and receive a seniority pension.

Nevertheless, work to identify persons who have not applied for pension payments continues. In this regard, the UAPF notes that according to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Pension Provision in the Republic of Kazakhstan," persons who have reached retirement age and have pension savings in the UAPF have the right to receive pension payments from the UAPF and strongly recommends that they timely contact the divisions of the State Corporation at their place of residence to assign pension payments from the UAPF in connection with reaching retirement age.

If the recipient does not apply for payments, pension savings remain in his individual pension account and investment income continues to accrue to them.

We remind you that pension payments from the UAPF are assigned from the date of circulation and are carried out until the exhaustion of pension savings.
