Meeting on the organization of delivery of sick and injured seals To the center for research and rehabilitation of seals

25 December 2019 in the city of Aktau under the chairmanship Vice-Minister of ecology, Geology and natural resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan nysanbayeva E. N. held a meeting on the organization of delivery of sick and injured seals To the center for research and rehabilitation of seals (CIRT).

The meeting was attended by Deputy akim of Mangystau region of kassak groups B. A., acting head of the Department of reproduction of fish resources and aquaculture of the Committee of forestry and fauna Zhubaev A. B., General Director of LLP "Central-Asian Institute for environmental studies" of Tauasarov A. D., the staff of territorial inspection of forestry and wildlife in Atyrau and Mangystau oblasts, representatives of specialized environmental Prosecutor's office, Department of ecology, Department of natural resources and environmental management, regional territorial inspection of veterinary control and supervision of Mangystau region, the police Department of Atyrau and Mangistau regions, the Institute of Hydrobiology and ecology, as well as fishing entities and representatives of subsoil users of the Mangistau region.

During the meeting, the participants met with the center for research and rehabilitation of seals, discussed issues on making proposals to the current legislation in terms of unhindered transportation of sick and injured seals, developing a temporary notification Scheme when they are detected.

As a result of the meeting, it was decided to finalize the temporary scheme of notification and interaction of interested bodies in the detection of injured seals, as well as to initiate amendments to the current legislation regarding the unhindered transport of sick and injured seals and their young.
