On the development of fisheries in the Karaganda region

Today, Vice Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources A. Shalabekova held a meeting with representatives of Fisheries of Aktogay district in Balkhash, Karaganda region.

During the meeting, topical issues of fisheries in the region were discussed. The vice minister informed the participants of the meeting about the measures and prospects for the development of Fisheries.

In addition, a meeting was held with the staff of the Balkhash-Alakol interregional Basin fisheries inspection. The inspection staff was recommended to comply with the principles of transparency in interaction with the local population, take into account the proposals of the public and inform them on a regular basis about the measures taken by the state to develop the industry.

Representatives of the Ministry also got acquainted with the activities of the Balkhash branch of the Fisheries Research and production center.
