The Committee of Fisheries and territorial inspections provide 8 types of public services, including the central office of 5 types, inspections - 3 types of public services.
The following services are provided by the Central Office of the KRH:
- issuance by the Administrative Authority of permits for the import into the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan and export from the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan of aquatic animal species subject to the CITES Convention;
- issuance of permits for the use of wildlife, in terms of issuing permits for scientific fishing on fishery reservoirs located on the territory of 2 or more regions;
- issuance of a license for the export of artemia cysts;
- issuance of a brand of caviar of sturgeon fish species for trade in the domestic market of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- Accreditation of republican associations of public associations of fishermen and subjects of fisheries.
The inter-regional basin Fisheries Inspections provide the following services:
- approval of the installation of fish protection devices of water intake structures;
- issuance of a certificate of the origin of the catch;
- coordination of the navigation regime during the spawning period prohibited for fishing, as well as in reservoirs and (or) areas prohibited for fishing.

Distribution of quotas for the removal of wildlife objects on the basis of approved limits.
1 public services are provided to local executive bodies:
Issuance of a permit for the use of wildlife.
