The meeting of the Vice-Minister of LSPP Nazgul Sagindykova with the Acting UNDP Resident Representative in Kazakhstan Mr. Vremis to discuss the current and future cooperation was held in June 30, 2022.
During the meeting the Vice-Minister informed about the ongoing work of the Ministry in the social sphere and the fruitful cooperation within the project with the UNDP "Improving the effectiveness and accessibility of social protection and activation programs for socially vulnerable populations" for the period 2021-2023.
In turn, Mr. Vremish V. noted about the broad profile of UNDP activities in Kazakhstan and the possibility of supporting the Ministry's initiatives in the social and labour spheres. In addition, Mr. Vremish noted the joint activities on the draft of the Social Code and mentioned the readiness to hold consultations, exchange analytical information, etc.
At the end of the meeting the parties expressed hope for the continuation of constructive cooperation both within the framework of joint projects and in other directions of the Ministry's activity.
Summing up the meeting in connection with the completion of the mission of Mr. Vremish in Kazakhstan, Vice-Minister expressed her gratitude for many years of fruitful cooperation and wished success in further activities.
