On November 19, 2024, during the official visit of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Tokayev K.K. to the Republic of Serbia, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veterans and Social Affairs of the Republic of Serbia.
The Memorandum is aimed at:
- a) the development of labour relations and labour market policy, as well as the intensification of bilateral cooperation in the field of labour migration;
- b) exchange of experience in the field of measures to reduce unemployment and promote employment of the population of various risk groups, including among young people and people with disabilities;
- c) exchange of experience in the field of promoting the development of entrepreneurial activities of unemployed and independent workers;
- d) development of a system of support for persons with disabilities in the field of social security, including a social protection system;
- e) improvement of the social security system;
- f) provision, improvement and development of support services for families in need of social protection and the fight against poverty.
