Information on the increase in pensions and social benefits from April 1, 2020

In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 8, 2020 "On the revised republican budget for 2020", from April 1, 2020:

Monthly calculation index (MCI) - 2 778 tenge;

The minimum amount of pension - 40 441 tenge;

The size of the subsistence minimum (MLS) - 32 668 tenge;

The minimum size of the state basic pension payment - 17 641 tenge;

The minimum wage is set at 42,500 tenge.

According to the decree, the amount of funds for age-related pension benefits and pension benefits for years of service is provided with the following increase.

From January 1, 2020 - by 7%,

From April 1, 2020 - by 5%,

Accordingly, in 2020, the amount of old-age pension payments will be doubled.

From January 1, 2020, the amount of solidarity pensions has been increased by 7% (two percentage points above the inflation rate), anticipating inflation. The inflation rate was 5%. From April 1, 2020, pension payments will be increased by another 5%. The total annual increase is 10%.

From April 1, 2020, the maximum amount of income to be taken into account when calculating the amount of pension depending on the newly appointed age shall not exceed the amount of 46 monthly calculation indices (127,788 tenge).

From April 1, 2020, in accordance with Article 4 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Pension Provision in the Republic of Kazakhstan", the amount of the state basic pension payment is set as a percentage of the new SDR.

The amount of state social benefits, including in the amount provided for in Articles 12 and 16 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated June 16, 1997 № 126 "On state social benefits in the Republic of Kazakhstan for disability and loss of a breadwinner" for persons living in medical and social institutions and correctional facilities, 2020 from April 1, 2013, taking into account the new size of the SDR.

№ Lists 1 and № 2 are special state benefits, lump-sum state benefits related to the birth of a child, state benefits for the care of a child under one year of age, four or more minor children living together, including for the period of graduation from educational institutions after reaching adulthood up to (but under the age of twenty-three) secondary, technical and vocational,

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Monthly state allowance for large families with children studying full-time in post-secondary, higher and (or) post-graduate educational institutions, awarded with “Altyn Alka”, “Kumis Alka” or previously “Batyr Ana The monthly state allowance for mothers with many children, awarded the Order of "Mother of Glory" of I and II degrees, the amount of special state benefits will be determined from April 1, 2020, taking into account the new MCI.

From April 1, 2020, the amount of state benefits for mothers or fathers, adoptive parents, guardians (trustees) raising a disabled child (disabled children), the state allowance for the care of a disabled person of the first group from childhood will increase due to the increase in SDRs.
