It is carried out in the following areas:

- control over the timeliness and completeness of payment of the state basic pension payment, pension payments, state social benefits for disability, in the event of loss of a breadwinner and for age, special state benefits, benefits for birth and childcare, benefits for raising a disabled child, lump sum cash compensation to victims of political repression, citizens affected by nuclear tests at the Semipalatinsk nuclear test site,

lump-sum payments for funeral, monthly payments after the end of the capitalization period of payments for compensation for harm caused to the life or health of employees by legal entities liquidated as a result of bankruptcy from the Department "State Center for the Payment of Pensions" - a branch of the non-profit JSC "State Corporation" Government for Citizens "in Pavlodar oblast, seniority pensions to employees of the prosecutor's office, payment under state guarantees;

- control over the timeliness and completeness of pension payments from the republican budget, the correct appointment and timeliness of payments of social payments from the State Social Insurance Fund for the following types of social risks: in case of disability, in case of loss of a breadwinner, in case of loss of work, in case of loss of income in connection with pregnancy and childbirth, in case of loss of income in connection with the adoption (adoption) of a newborn child (children) and in case of loss of income due to caring for a child upon reaching the age of 1 year;

- internal control of the SSIF activities in the manner prescribed by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Administrative Procedures"

- collection of data on the number of recipients and the amount of pension and social payments at the expense of budgetary funds and the State Social Insurance Fund.

- control over the high-quality, complete and timely receipt of special social services by people with disabilities in medical and social institutions and other organizations providing social services;

- carrying out inspections of adaptation work on access of disabled people to social infrastructure facilities, provided for by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On social protection of disabled people in the Republic of Kazakhstan";
