Medical and social expertise is one of the main activities of the Department.

4 departments in the city of Pavlodar, one in the cities of Ekibastuz and Aksu carry out daily reception and consideration of cases of disabled people. The work is carried out in close contact with medical organizations in the region. Weekly trips are made to rural areas of the region, where this public service is provided in full and in full compliance with the standard.

Main tasks and functions of the Department of methodology and control of medical and social expertise

Control over the accuracy, validity establishing causes of disability and degree of disability, rehabilitation, individual rehabilitation programmes, determine the needs of the worker, the injured or other damage of health connected with execution of labor (service) duties for additional types of assistance and care.

Conducting a medical and social examination of persons who have appealed the conclusions of the primary departments of medical and social expertise, as well as checking the conclusions of the primary departments of medical and social expertise in the order of control, if these conclusions are found to be unfounded, canceling them and making their own conclusions.

Implementation in complex (controversial) cases of consultation of patients and disabled people in the areas of primary departments of medical and social expertise.

Determination of disability and the degree of disability with determination of their causes, timing, and time of occurrence.

Development of individual rehabilitation programs for disabled people and monitoring their implementation.

Determining the needs of an employee who has received an injury or other health damage associated with the performance of their labor (official) duties in additional types of assistance and care.
