According to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan " on amendments and additions to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "on the Republican budget for 2020-2022", starting from April 1, 2020,:
Monthly calculation index (MCI) -in the amount of 2,778 tenge;
The minimum pension is 40 441 tenge;
A living wage is a 32 668 tenge;
The minimum amount of the basic pension payment is 17,641 tenge;
The minimum wage is 42,500 tenge.
The amount of pension payments for age and length of service assigned before April 1, 2020, will be increased by 5% of the amount received from April 1, 2020.
Starting from April 1, 2020, the maximum income taken into account for calculating the amount of newly assigned age pension payments cannot exceed 46 times the MCI (127,788 tenge).
Due to the increase in the size of the PM, the amount of the state basic pension payment, state social benefits, including for persons living in medical and social institutions and in correctional institutions, state benefits for parents, guardians raising disabled children, and state benefits for families (persons) caring for a disabled person of the 1st group since childhood have been increased by 5% since April 1, 2020.
The amount of state special benefits on List # 1 and # 2, a lump sum of state aid in connection with the birth of the child, state benefits for child care up to the age of one year, special state allowances, the monthly state benefit, assigned and paid to families with many children, state benefits for mothers of large families awarded with pendants "Altyn Alka", "kumis Alka" or got before the rank "Mother-heroine" and awarded the order of "Maternal glory», will be increased from April 1, 2020 by 5% due to an increase in the size of the MCI.
Payment of pensions and allowances in the new amounts will be made in may 2020.
