Announcement of the placement of the draft order "On approval of the instructions for conducting an inspection of pressure vessels with an expired service life in order to determine the possibility of their further operation"

The project was developed in order to implement the Order of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On measures to implement the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 1, 2021 "On Amendments and Additions to Certain Legislative Acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Industrial Safety, Industrial Zones, wildlife, Specially Protected Natural Territories, energy, Natural Monopolies and housing Payments to employees of internal Affairs bodies".

Currently, in the Republic of Kazakhstan, market entities that own, operate or carry out inspections of pressure vessels with an expired service life in order to determine the possibility of their further operation are guided by the requirements of the Law, the Rules for Ensuring Industrial Safety when Operating Pressure Equipment, approved by the order of the Minister for Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 30.12.2014. No. 358 and Methodological instructions on the procedure for extending the service life of pressure vessels, based on the results of technical diagnostics at enterprises of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan, developed in the 2000s, which establish general requirements for the frequency, organization and methods of examination of pressure vessels that have completed the assigned (calculated) service life.

The project provides for detailing the procedure for conducting an inspection of pressure vessels with an expired service life in order to determine the possibility of their further operation.
