Industrial safety – a state of protection of individuals and legal entities and the environment from the harmful effects of hazardous production factors.
In the implementation of the draft law "On Amendments and additions to certain legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on industrial safety", Rules for training and retraining of specialists, employees of hazardous production facilities on industrial safety issues are being developed, which will establish the forms of the protocol and certificates for testing knowledge in the field of industrial safety.
Prior to the approval of the Rules for Training and Retraining of Specialists and Employees of Hazardous Production Facilities on Industrial Safety Issues, the organization that trains and retrains specialists and employees in the field of industrial safety may develop the protocol and certificate forms independently.
In accordance with paragraph 2 of Article 79 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Civil Protection", training and testing of knowledge (examinations) of specialists, employees of hazardous production facilities, as well as certified, design organizations and other organizations involved in working at hazardous production facilities, are carried out in the training center of a hazardous production facility or training organization if they have a certificate granting the right to training, retraining of specialists, employees in the field of industrial safety.
An organization that has a certificate for the right to carry out work in the field of industrial safety with a sub-type of activity training, retraining of specialists, workers in the field of industrial safety has the right to train its employees in the field of industrial safety.
According to the results of the knowledge test, the heads of legal entities declaring industrial safety, as well as members of the permanent examination commissions of these legal entities, are issued certificates.
Managers, specialists, employees of organizations operating hazardous production facilities, with the exception of managers and members of permanent examination commissions declaring industrial safety, as well as certified, design organizations and other organizations involved in working at hazardous production facilities who have passed the exams, are issued certificates.
