The Malik Gabdullin Academy of Civil Protection is the only higher educational institution that trains civil protection officers.

The cadets of the Academy are fully supported by the state for the entire period of study.

Graduates of the Academy are awarded the rank of Lieutenant of civil protection and guaranteed employment in the departments of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Academy provides training in four bachelor's degree programs – "Fire Safety", "Protection in emergency situations", "Tactical Command of the Civil Defense Forces", "Firefighting and emergency rescue".
