Rules for the use of electrical appliances

The causes of a fire due to improper use of electrical equipment can be household electrical appliances, electrical wiring, electrical outlets, switches. Household appliances can cause a fire in case of a technical malfunction of the device, as a result of which a short circuit occurs inside the device. Often there are short circuits of electric kettles, irons, electric stoves, microwave ovens. Therefore, to prevent fires, it is forbidden to leave unattended electric kettles, electric stoves, televisions, washing machines and other electrical appliances connected to the mains. Electrical wiring during prolonged operation significantly wears out, the insulation property is lost. Therefore, the wiring in the house should be changed after a certain time after the start of operation. It is not allowed to use electrical wiring with damaged insulation, damaged sockets and switches. The wiring must be installed on a non-combustible base or in special cable channels. It can be textolite, poranite, asbestos or other non-combustible material. It is forbidden to install wires or sockets on wood or wallpaper, which is a violation of fire safety rules. A very important and basic measure in ensuring fire safety during the operation of electrical wiring and electrical appliances is the use of devices that protect against overloads and short circuits of the power grid. These can be automatic or fuses. In case of a short circuit or overload of electrical or electrical appliances, the fuses are triggered, discourage the electrical network and thus prevent the development of gorenje. Therefore, it is forbidden to use uncalibrated inserts in protective devices, i.e. the so-called "bugs" made of wire or without protection of the electrical network from emergency modes of operation. All short circuit and overload protection devices have current readings and other parameters. Therefore, you should consult a qualified electrician to select the correct fuses.               No one is immune from the occurrence of a fire. However, a fire can be prevented if all measures of fire safety regulations are followed and caution is exercised when using fire. It is important to remember that the material damage caused by a fire can be hundreds or thousands of times more than the cost of bringing your house into a fire-safe condition DEPARTMENT OF STATE FIRE CONTROL
