The Ministry is responsible for forecasting key macroeconomic indicators for the republic’s socio-economic development, monitoring and analyzing these indicators, and coordinating state bodies in developing and implementing economic policies aligned with socio-economic priorities. The Ministry also develops a five-year socio-economic forecast for the Republic of Kazakhstan, evaluates potential external risks and their impact, and coordinates state bodies' work with international rating agencies.
