During the meeting of citizens by the chairman of the Committee for Environmental Regulation and Control, a resident of the Turkestan region reported sewage drains into a ditch near a residential building.

An inspection was opened on this fact and a number of violations were revealed.

At the same time, a positive conclusion of the state ecological expertise for the sewage system of the village and a permit for emissions into the environment by the office of the akim of the village of Sastobe of the Tulkubassky district has not been received. The sewage pumping station and treatment facilities (CBS) have not been put into operation. Articles 90 and 106 of the Environmental Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan have been violated.

The State Enterprise "The Office of the akim of the village of Sastobe of the akimat of the Tulkubassky district" as a defendant filed a lawsuit against the contractor's obligation to completely eliminate the identified shortcomings and defects.

On January 17, 2022, the Specialized Interdistrict Economic Court of the Turkestan region issued a ruling on the full satisfaction of the claim of the above-mentioned GKP.

At the moment, the runoff has been stopped and the area has been recultivated.
