Department of Informatization and Communications was established to organize and coordinate work in the fields of informatization, information support, and communications for the departments of the Penal Enforcement System (PES), taking into account the current level of technological development and ensuring information security.

Functions:

• Developing and implementing a unified policy for informatization, communications, information support, and technical information protection within the PES, in line with the latest technological advancements.
• Providing technical support in the fields of informatization, communications, and information security.
• Improving the information support systems within the PES.
• Providing organizational and methodological management, as well as oversight, to ensure compliance with national legislation on the National Archive Fund and archival practices within the PES.
