May 18 – celebration of the International Museum Day
On May 282025, a special event dedicated to the International Museum Day was organized at the Department of the Penal Correction System in the Aktobe region
This day is a special celebration of gratitude and appreciation to those who have made a significant contribution to the preservation promotion and transmission of the nation's historical and cultural heritage to the younger generation In this regardspecial respect was shown to a number of veterans who made a great contribution to the development of the UIS system preserved the history of the industry and became known for their noble work In particular the veterans who initiated the opening of the departmental museum at the UIS department and actively participated in its formation were awarded letters of thanks from the head of the PCS
The museum is not only a place of remembrance of the past, but also a center of learning and education, spiritual continuity for young employees. Todayit contains valuable exhibits, documents and photographs telling about the history of the field of medical treatment, the ways of veterans' activities. The contribution of veterans to the acquisition and systematization of museum exhibitions was enormous.
