In Aktobe, psychologists of the penitentiary system discussed the problem of suicide and ways to prevent it

 

Psychologists of the Aktobe Region Penitentiary System met with the suicidologist of the Regional Mental Health Center, Master of Psychology Zhanar Shyntemirova.

At the round table, the topic “On suicide prevention measures, timely detection of a suicidal nature” was raised, suicidologist Shyntemirova Zhanar shared suicide rates by district, as well as suicidal cases in the region.

At the meeting, a specialist suicidologist of the Regional Mental Health Center also shared her experience, telling the intricacies of working with people with mental disorders, drug addicts, alcoholics, gamers, giving examples from her practice and answering questions from the participants.
