Department of regime, supervision and security

Overseeing and coordinating the activities of regime, supervision, and security services in the territorial units of the Penal Enforcement System (PES).
Monitoring and coordinating the activities of regional PES units in organizing the detention of suspects, accused individuals, and convicts.
Planning the key areas of the Department's activities and ensuring the implementation of planned measures.
Collecting, analyzing, and maintaining information and statistical data related to the Department's activities.
Considering appeals on issues within the Department's jurisdiction.
Coordinating the Department's activities with state authorities and other organizations on matters within its competence.
Coordinating the Department's interaction with internal affairs units of the Republic of Kazakhstan on issues within its jurisdiction.
Participating in the development and implementation of program documents aimed at the development, strengthening and improvement of the PES.
Overseeing and organizing criminal search activities to ensure security in mixed-security institutions, as well as the safety of the accused, suspects, convicts, staff, and other individuals within their territory.
Collaborating with financial and other structural divisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to improve and strengthen the material and technical support of PES institutions for maintaining the established regime, security, and supervision in places of detention.
Participating in business trips and targeted inspections of regional PES units in the areas of regime, supervision, and security.
Monitoring compliance with fire safety regulations in PES institutions.
Overseeing the condition and use of engineering and technical security systems, fences around isolated areas of PES institutions, video surveillance systems, and body-worm cameras.
