Dear Askar Uzakbayevich!
Dear participants of the meeting!

Slide 3
According to the world ranking of 221 countries, Kazakhstan ranks 104th in terms of morbidity and 111th in terms of mortality.
Slide 4

Currently, there is a positive dynamics of the decline in the incidence and a gradual stabilization of the epidemiological situation.
The number of Covid cases detected over the past week decreased by 26.04 thousand compared to the weekly incidence rate in late April - early May (from 02.05 to 4).
Overall, the incidence has decreased by 20% over the past month.
Slide 7
As of May 25, the coverage of infectious beds in the Republic is 33% (12,452 beds) and decreased by 8% (as of May 1-41%) compared to the beginning of May this year, the coverage of resuscitation beds decreased by 2% (as of May 1-28%) and amounted to 26% (873 beds).
There is also a positive dynamics of bed coverage in Nur-Sultan - compared to the beginning of May (May 4), the share of bed coverage decreased from 60% to 47% (1020 beds), in Almaty from 57% to 35% (2,079 beds) and in Almaty region from 56 to 36% (1,592 beds).
Slide 8
There is a decrease in the number of patients being treated from 38 thousand as of May 15 to 32 thousand as of May 25, including the number of patients receiving inpatient treatment from 14 thousand to 12 thousand, the number of patients receiving outpatient treatment from 24.5 thousand to 20 thousand.
At the same time, I would like to note that since May 5, the number of recovered patients per day exceeds the number of cases per day, which also indicates a tendency to stabilize the epidemiological situation.
Vaccination of the population against Covid continues.
To date, about 3.0 million doses of the vaccine have been used, of which 2,015,053 people have been vaccinated with 1 component, which is 20% of the corresponding population. The second component covers 949,802 people.
To date, vaccination points have a sufficient amount of vaccine: about 320 thousand of the first component and 650 thousand of the second component.
Delivery of the vaccine is carried out according to the schedule.

Dear Askar Uzakbayevich!
In order to identify new mutations, we regularly conduct genetic studies of coronavirus strains circulating in the Republic.
Thus, according to the results of a study of samples identified in April of this year, the circulation of "British strain" was determined in 30% of samples.
The circulation of the Indian strain on the territory of the Republic has not been established.
Taking into account the epidemiological situation and vaccination coverage, the Ministry updated the forecast of the epidemiological situation.
For example, under a pessimistic scenario in which the effectiveness of vaccination is not less than 60%, the number of cases registered in June – September 2021 is about 95 thousand people (on average, from 1.5 thousand in June to 500 cases per day in September).
According to the second realistic scenario, with the effectiveness of vaccination at least 80%, the estimated number of cases registered in June – September 2021 is about 69 thousand people (on average, from 1.3 thousand in June to 200 cases per day in September).
In an optimistic scenario, where the effectiveness of vaccination is not less than 95%, the number of cases registered in June – September 2021 is about 61 thousand people (on average, from 1,25 thousand in June to 100 cases per day in September).
At the same time, it should be noted that the implementation of any scenario directly depends on the activity of citizens in the issue of vaccination.
In this regard, in order to increase vaccination coverage, we consider it necessary for local executive bodies to take measures to increase vaccination coverage and conduct awareness-raising activities among the population.
The report is over.
Thank you for your attention.
