Contract name: Procurement of X-Ray equipment.
Reference No. SHIP-2/1-ME-02.
1. The Republic of Kazakhstan has received a loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development toward the cost of Social Health Insurance Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the Contract № SHIP-2/1-ME-02 «Procurement of X-Ray equipment», consisting of the following lots:
Lot № 1 «Imaging system for Interventional cardiac and vascular procedures»;
Lot № 2 «Computed tomography (CT) scanner»;
Bidders have the opportunity to submit the Bid to one or several lots. The Bid will be evaluated for each lot, taking into account the discounts offered for each lot or a combination of lots, if applicable. The contract (s) will be awarded to the bidder or bidders offering the lowest cost to the Purchaser for combined lots, provided that the selected bidder meets the necessary qualification criteria for the lot or combination of lots if necessary.
2. The Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for Procurement of Medical equipment».
3. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, and is open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Guidelines5. reference to items 1.6 and 1.7 of Guidelines with indication of WB policy on conflict of interests.
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Ministry of Healthcare and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, attention to Bolat Tokezhanov, National Project Coordinator, e-mail: kazhealth.procurement@gmail.com and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 09:00-12:30 and 14:30-18:00 Monday-Friday, except official holidays.
Bidder’s representative appointed by the Bidder is invited to visit the pre-bidding conference. The objective of the conference is to clarify the questions and answers to them that may arise at this stage. The Bidder is required to submit all questions to the Purchaser in written, at least a week prior to the conference conduct date. The Conference will be conducted at 10-00 a.m. on 05.06.2020, by the address: Republic of Kazakhstan, Nur-Sultan city, Dostyk str., 18, 4th floor, office 77.
5. A complete set of bidding documents in English in pdf format may be sent in e-form to interested Bidders upon submission of a written application to the Project Implementation Unit Team by email: kazhealth.procurement@gmail.com.
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 17:00 June 19, 2020. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in person at the address below at 17:00 June 19, 2020.
