UNICEF is increasingly raising such a serious problem of our time as bullying or bullying at school.
According to the UNESCO report, "What is behind the numbers? Elimination of violence and bullying at school", every third student in the world faces various forms of bullying and violence from their peers or classmates.
Unfortunately, this traumatic experience does not pass without a trace and may eventually develop into a psychological trauma.
Studies have shown that every fifth student in Kazakhstan is bullied. You can become victims of bullying for various reasons – unusual appearance, disinterest in what is fashionable, unwillingness to get involved in general processes, isolation. The inequality of the aggressor's and victim's forces, repeatability, acute emotional reaction of the victim are essential signs of bullying.
Early intervention is very important in the prevention of bullying, the child should not be left alone with violence. And here the attentiveness and attitude of teachers and parents is very important.
Signs that a child has been bullied may include problems with concentration, depression, depression, irritability, feeling of insecurity, hypersensitivity, stomach pain, fatigue, lack of appetite, poverty of social contacts, symptoms of fear, for example, pressure in the chest area, sweating attacks, back pain, in the back of the head, in the muscles, sleep disturbance.
If parents notice these signs in their child, it is necessary to take urgent measures and, first of all, inform teachers about it and jointly solve this problem, up to the involvement of psychologists and, if necessary, juvenile inspection staff.
It is necessary to pay attention to the atmosphere in the family of a child who is prone to bullying peers. Such children, as a rule, grow up in families where interaction with each other is based on aggression and authoritarianism of parents, where the elders force the younger ones to obey, where the child is vulnerable and does not feel protected. Outside the home, such a child, as a rule, tries to humiliate those who are weaker.
