The Department of Culture and Development of Languages of the city of Shakhtinsk is carrying out specific work on the implementation of the State Program for the Implementation of Language Policy in the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2020-2025, the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Languages in the Republic of Kazakhstan", and other regulatory legal acts regulating relations in the field of language policy. One of the main areas of work is teaching the population the state and English languages. In the first half of 2021, 114 people were taught the state language, 53 people were taught English. The training covers government, civil servants and individuals. On a quarterly basis, monitoring and analysis of outgoing documents in the state language is carried out in state bodies through the AIS "Electronic Document Management Log Book". Based on the Laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On languages in the Republic of Kazakhstan" (Article 21), "On Advertising" (Article 6), "On Protection of Consumer Rights" (Clause 1 of Article 24), "The Entrepreneurial Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan" and Of the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Administrative Offenses)" On January 21, 2021, a mutual cooperation was signed between the Chamber of Entrepreneurs and the Department for the Development of Languages. As part of the memorandum, business facilities in the region regularly monitor compliance with the requirements of the current legislation on languages in advertising texts and visual information. Within the framework of the current legislation, methodological manuals regarding language norms are produced, dictionaries are compiled for each field of activity of "Tilashar". Tilashar dictionaries are distributed weekly on an ongoing basis for representatives of small and medium-sized businesses, as well as representatives of the sphere of public relations (banks, car parks, post offices, pharmacies). For employees of service and business facilities, courses of accelerated training of the state language with a 24-hour program were opened, where 18 people are trained (polyclinic - 10 people, Kazakhtelecom - 8 people). On a quarterly basis, by conducting a raid, errors in the texts of outdoor advertising and visual information are revealed. On April 16, with the participation of the deputy akim of the city, a meeting was held with the heads of the service sector Kazakhtelecom, Kazpost, PSC, city polyclinic, etc. It was noted that the provision of services to the population and their service should be carried out in two languages. According to the annual action plan, on February 11, 2021, the "Abay ogular" competition was held. Among the population of non-indigenous nationalities, the Tilge Urmetelge Urmet challenge was organized. In honor of the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the city of Shakhtinsk, on May 4, 2021, the competition "Tugan өlkem, Kandai kurkem" was held. In order to promote the transition of the Kazakh alphabet to the Latin script, trainings are held. During the reporting period, 6 trainings were held on the topic "Latinsha zhazyp daғdylanamyz!" in 22 institutions with coverage of 90 people. On April 30 and May 13, an online dictan was held in Latin script. According to the quarterly media plan, in the first quarter of this year, instead of the planned 16 articles, 47 articles were published in the regional mass media. Articles are published on the explanation of the legislation on languages, visual information and advertising, onomastics, trilingualism, on the transition to the Latin script, etc.
