Social protection

Social assistance:

Targeted social assistance (hereinafter referred to as TSA) was provided to 1,019 families, including 5,280 people, in the amount of 299.7 million tenge. There are 502 large families among the recipients of the TSA.

According to the decisions of the raigormaslikhats, the following services were provided from the local budget::

• housing assistance to 438 families in the amount of 14.3 million tenge;
• social assistance for children with disabilities to 394 families (401 children) studying at home in the amount of 42.0 million tenge;
• social assistance to certain categories of citizens, persons in difficult situations, 16,282 recipients in the amount of KZT 1230.9 million.
• Charitable assistance was provided to 2,428 families in the amount of 39.4 million tenge.

Social protection:

The total number of people with disabilities in the region is 26,249, of whom 3,638 are children with disabilities under the age of 18.

          As of July 1, 2026, 9098 people were provided with technical auxiliary (compensatory) means and social services, which is 72.4% of the 12,561 applicants.

The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan has introduced an updated information portal on social protection of persons with disabilities inva.gov.kz . As of today, 1,735 objects have been added to the portal, of which 1,388 have been adapted, or by 80.0%.

          As part of the roadmap of the AMANAT party's Election Program until 2027, it is planned to adapt 20% in 2023, 40% in 2024, and by the end of 2027, the percentage of implementation should be 100%.
