Geoinformation portal of the West Kazakhstan region

Geoinformation portal of the West Kazakhstan region

As part of the implementation of the state program "Digital Kazakhstan" in the West Kazakhstan region, a geoportal of local executive bodies is being created.

In 2019, a geoportal of the West Kazakhstan region was developed and implemented.

The resource is currently deployed at www.map.e-batys.kz.

At present, 62 thematic layers have been published on the geoportal, which include: boundaries of territorial objects, land plots, buildings with addresses, mining allotments, objects of land, forest, water resources, hydraulic structures and main pipelines, roads and railways, industry registers and

Also, tools for updating the attributive and geographic data of thematic layers were introduced.

The geoportal consists of two modules: a module for the provision of public services and a geoportal.

With the help of unmanned aerial vehicles, field aerial photography was carried out throughout the entire territory of Uralsk. As a result, an ultra-high resolution orthomosaic was obtained.

In the current year, work was carried out to fill the geoportal with industry data, and the publication of aerial photography data was carried out. The data of the automated information system of the state land cadastre for land plots were received and published, based on aerial photography data, land plots were corrected.

In addition, data on engineering networks (water supply, sewerage, electricity, gas and heat supply), approved boundaries of water protection zones and strips, subsoil use objects (developed and free deposits), agricultural land, cultural, educational, healthcare and tourism facilities were processed and published.

Also, tools were introduced for geo-tax monitoring of the intended use of land plots allocated for individual housing construction, monitoring of the use of arable land and subsoil users' plots based on multi-temporal satellite images.

Automation of 18 business processes of public services was carried out, and work is underway to automate 7 functions in the field of land relations.

In the current year, master plans of settlements with a vector basis, including the master plan of Uralsk, have been introduced into the geoportal.

Also, the giportal contains information about the lists of persons in the queue for receiving land plots for individual housing construction.

Currently, work is underway to test public services, add civil society employees involved in the provision of public services, train them, prepare the necessary operational documentation, process incoming industry data and introduce geoanalytical tools.

It is planned to put the geoportal into commercial operation after the successful implementation of integration interactions with the components of e-government and state databases of central government bodies.
