The law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "on public services" establishes the basic principles of public services: equal access to service recipients without any discrimination; the inadmissibility of red tape and red tape in the provision of public services; accountability and transparency in the provision of public services; quality and Accessibility of public services; continuous improvement of the process of providing public services; cost-effectiveness and efficiency in the provision of public services. State services in the field of veterinary medicine are provided by the state institution "Department of veterinary medicine of the West Kazakhstan region", veterinary departments of districts and the city of Uralsk. The list of state services in the field of veterinary medicine includes the following services:

Standards of public services in the field of veterinary medicine provide for minimum terms for reviewing documents and providing services, minimum payment, and issuance of results of public services in both paper and electronic forms. In accordance with the requirements of the legislation, there is a process of continuous optimization of the process of providing public services in the field of veterinary medicine.
