In the Terekty district, in order to implement the state youth policy, there is a Youth Resource Center, the youth wing "Zhas Otan", and the youth public association "Is Ush-Za delo". In 15 rural districts, youth leaders are working to implement youth policy, increase social activity of young people, promote employment, engage in entrepreneurship, encourage a healthy lifestyle, and effectively organize leisure activities for young people.
There are 7527 young people in the district, which is 20.4 % of the total population. Of these, 1,631 are schoolchildren, 1,230 are students, 123 are in the army , 137 are young entrepreneurs, 139 are registered unemployed, 26 are NEET young people, and 21 are registered for probation.
Since the beginning of the year, two online job fairs have been held to promote the employment of the unemployed and young people of the NEET category. In order to reduce the number of unemployed youth and explain state programs, 9 online events "Zhastarga kenes" were held, where 92 young people were consulted. Also, to ensure the availability of information about vacancies, the Terekti Jastary page regularly publishes information about vacancies, youth leaders of all rural districts open youth groups On WhatsApp and publish information about employment opportunities in the group. About 2000 young people are registered in such groups in the district.
In 2020, 447 young people were employed for permanent work, 50-in the "Zhasyl El" detachment, 27 - in the student construction detachment, 150 passed youth practice, 6 received irrevocable grants. Until April 2021, 58 young people are employed on a permanent basis, 14 young people are undergoing youth practice, and 13 young people intend to undergo practical training. It is important to provide young people with seasonal work. This year, we plan to increase the number of "Zhasyl El" fighters to 100, and the number of young people participating in the construction team to 40.
One of the important directions is the rational use of leisure time for young people and introduction to a healthy lifestyle. In order to implement this direction, the district constantly operates 31 libraries (2 equipped coworking areas), 26 houses of culture and clubs, 1 House of Friendship, a sports and recreation complex at the House of Friendship. Sports grounds have been built in all villages, and there are street workout grounds in 3 rural districts.
20 events were held for the youth of the district, 614 young people were covered. All events were published on the social network. 132 photo reports, 30 video reports were covered.
In 2021, the volunteers carried out work: 1 single elderly person was helped by volunteers to purchase medicines and identify outdated medicines, 2 families were provided with clothing through the district charity shop "Shapagat", 5 families were provided with food assistance, 8 families were distributed meat with the help of an entrepreneur.
