The Public Foundation "To the People of Kazakhstan" and the Akimat of the West Kazakhstan region signed a memorandum on the construction of housing for families affected by floods in the Syrym district of the West Kazakhstan region
As part of the implemented memorandum, 114 houses will be built in West Kazakhstan region based on a model project proposed by local executive bodies using the financial resources of the Fund.
The houses will be built in the following localities:
1. Zhympity village – 49 houses;
2. Buldyrty village – 25 houses
3. village of Ulenty – 38 houses;
4. Zhetikol village – 1 house;
5. Zhanakonys village – 1 house.
The WKO Akimat has identified and allocated land plots for the construction of new houses in areas prone to floods, and also provides the necessary engineering infrastructure. The regional akimat will monitor and control the progress and quality of construction work in collaboration with local public activists. In the near future, villages and territories for construction will be identified in the North Kazakhstan region, Kostanay, Aktobe and Akmola regions and the corresponding memorandums will be signed.
