On September 27, 2024, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Kuantyrov Alibek Sakenovich paid a working visit to the West Kazakhstan region.
As part of his visit, under the chairmanship of Deputy akim of the region Aitmukhambetov Kaliyar Shadiyarovich, a meeting with the business community was held in the conference hall of the Akimat of the region, during which the head of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Industrial and innovative development of the West Kazakhstan Region Utepbayev Nurzhan Sapargeldievich familiarized with the investment climate of the region.
The head of the Kazakh Invest regional block, Yesenov Marat Sagintaevich, spoke about the investment opportunities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, measures of state support for investors and the work of the National Digital Platform.
He also noted that today the country's investment policy is being reviewed, based on the investment programs of the regions, an investment order will be formed. This program will facilitate the search for investment projects within the framework of import substitution and the search for potential niches in priority sectors of the economy.
Murat Orynbayevich Dzhakibaev, Chairman of the Regional Council of NCE Atameken, CEO of Beles Group, familiarized with the potential for the development of the agro-industrial complex and the existing problematic issues.
During the visit, a number of industrial facilities of the region were visited, in particular JSC Uralskagroremmash, JSC Zhelaevsky Combine of Bread Products, LLP Kaspimunaikapital, LLP Packaging Systems, LLP Kvant, LLP Playkom.
The traditional event "Single Report Day" was held in Uralsk. During this, representatives of the supervisory authorities reported to the business community. This is an instruction from the President aimed at ensuring transparency in these government agencies.
On September 25 of this year, a meeting of the special commission for inclusion in the register of social entrepreneurship entities was held. As a result of the meeting, it was decided to include 14 entrepreneurs from our region in the register of social entrepreneurship entities.
On September 19 of this year, the head of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Industrial and Innovative Development of the West Kazakhstan Region, N. S. Utepbayev, organized a meeting on the sale of saigas with the Chinese company Beijing Jinyuanchan biopharmaceutical Technology Co. The meeting was also attended by the head of the territorial inspectorate of forestry and wildlife Rakhimzhanov N.S. From September 17 to 20 of this year, with the support of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Industrial and Innovative Development of the West Kazakhstan region, the Republican festival "Europe-Asia" was held. More than 120 participants from 5 regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan and 7 districts of our region came to the tourist event. Participating teams competed at distances in hiking and orienteering techniques, as well as creative competitions.
The festival was held on the basis of TL “Samal” of the regional center for youth tourism and ecology.
