The main goal and task of the department of culture and language development of Burlinsky region is the development, preservation, renewal of the national culture and traditions; organization of cultural and leisure activities of the population through cultural events. The plan and activities of the cultural sphere in the region are carried out in accordance with the Address of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev to the people of Kazakhstan, the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Culture" and the program "Cultural Heritage".
Today, there are 49 cultural objects and 2 parks (23 houses of culture, 1 friendship house, 26 libraries in 8 of them, 18 in rural areas).
