In the district, the number of small schools was 14.

"Spiritual renewal is the success of the development of modern education." In order to implement the "Rukhani Zhagyru" program within the framework of the "Upbringing and Education" subprogram, educational organizations are carrying out effective work in the 2019-2020 academic year.
Subprogram "Upbringing and Education" is the basis for a successful future education and knowledge for the formation of a competitive, pragmatic, strong, patriotic and active generation. This is the path that is important for future generations to learn from the good traditions of the people and grow on patriotic qualities. The upbringing and education subprogram includes 3 basic projects: Local history; Conscientious Citizen; "Homeland is my destiny."
In all educational institutions of the district, in order to implement the state program, class hours, competitions and other propaganda and explanatory work were held.
Since 2016, work has begun in the district's schools to open school museums. Today, 21 schools have museums. Thanks to the systematic work of school museums, the experience of our district was summarized at the republican level.
In the 2019 - 2020 academic year, within the framework of the Upbringing and Education program, 51 events were held, covering 4,626 people.
In order to organize extracurricular work and leisure of students, 123 circles and 112 sports sections worked in educational institutions, the coverage was 2848 students covered by circle work, 2946 students covered by sections.

Boards of trustees were created in all educational institutions of the region. The main goal of the board of trustees in educational institutions is to support the implementation of the statutory functions of an educational organization, provide financial support, strengthen the material and technical base, and exercise public control over its activities.
Along with this, in the 2019-2020 academic year, teachers and students of the district took part in various competitions for educational work and showed good results.
Additional education
The system of additional education of the region includes 4 educational institutions, 3984 students or 47% are engaged in them.
In order to educate national spirituality, the highest moral values, various competitions were held throughout the year. The achievements of the students were reporting concerts, competitions of performing skills. Pupils of institutions of additional education of the region became the owners of 20 - Grand Prix and 300 prize-winning places in International, Republican and regional competition-festivals.
