THE DEPARTMENT HAS RESTORED THE RIGHTS OF THE SERVICE RECIPIENT
The Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs in the Almaty Region
(hereinafter referred to as the Department) revealed a refusal to register the vehicle of a resident of
the city of Konaev due to the lack of VIN codes of vehicles in the Unified Information System database.
During the inspection, it was established that the Administrative Police Department of the Department
of Internal Affairs of the Almaty Region requires the conclusion of a forensic expert on the vehicle identification number.
However, in order to make changes to the database of the unified information system in accordance with
the “Rules for state registration and accounting of certain types of vehicles by vehicle identification number”,
approved by order of the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 2, 2014 No. 862,
the conclusion of a forensic specialist no examination required. In this regard, vehicle VIN codes were adjusted and
introduced into the unified information system database. Thus, the rights of the service recipient were restored.
