At council meeting, issues of improving quality of work with appeals were discussed

A meeting of the council was held under the chairmanship of the Head of the Office of the Akim of the region, Nurlybek Zhenisbekuly, on improving the quality of work with citizens' appeals, the Regional Communications Service reports.

According to the Head of the Department for Analysis and Control of Appeals of the Atyrau regional department of the Committee on Legal Statistics and Special Accounts of the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Zhanna Abdrakhmanova, the number of appeals to local executive bodies increased by 24% compared to last year.

“This year, local executive bodies received 17,633 appeals. This became possible thanks to the implementation of the “E-Otinish” project. Since the introduction of the system, it has become easier for citizens to express their demands. With the help of this platform, most of the requests are received by the regional office and departments, the akimat of the city of Atyrau (2,987), the akimat of the Zhylyoy district (1,195), the akimat of the Kurmangazy district (342),” Zh. Abdrakhmanova said.

Chief of Staff Nurlybek Zhenisbekuly instructed responsible specialists to conduct daily monitoring of work with appeals, as well as quarterly meetings with the participation of government officials.

“In addition to instructions from government agencies, it is necessary to give priority attention to citizens’ appeals through “E-Otinish” and facilitate their resolution. It is necessary to hold council meetings more often and bring to disciplinary action employees who are negligent in this work,” N. Zhenisbekuly said.

For reference: to submit an appeal through “E-Otinish” to an individual or legal entity, you must log in to the portal and go to “Order a service online”, then submit an appeal to any government agency, signing it with an electronic signature key. According to the law, a response to an appeal must come within 15 working days.
