Head of region Serik Shapkenov paid working visit to Tushchykudyk rural district of Isatay district

First of all, social facilities of the Tushchykudyk rural district were visited. Here the head of the region got acquainted with the work on the overhaul of the Baksay Canal. The total length of the canal from the Zhaiyk River is 137 kilometers. The Baksay canal originates in the village of Zhalgansay in the Makhambet district and covers 73.4 kilometers of the territory of the Isatay district. It covers Kamyskali, Tushchykudyk and Akkystau rural districts. Construction work began in 2022. The design and estimate documentation for digging the canal was developed in 2021. It should be noted that cleaning the canal from reeds is not included in these works.

To date, the process is fully completed. The gateway is currently being installed. The head of the region instructed the representative of the RSE "Kazsushar" and the contractor to amend the design and estimate documentation for the points that were not included in the project. And for the timely completion of the remaining part of the project, he instructed to mobilize all the necessary equipment.

Also, the regional akim visited a sports and recreation complex in the village of Tushchykuduk, built within the framework of the program "Auyl-Yel Besigi". The complex was put into operation in February this year. 120 children are engaged in judo, jiu-jitsu, boxing, volleyball sections. This building is not enough to cover all the children living in the village. Akim of the region instructed the head of the construction department to start work on the construction of an additional sports complex.

Later, he got acquainted with the construction of an extension to the Zh. Myrzagaliyev Secondary School for 350 places. The customer is the regional construction department. The contracting organization is Tonykok Kurylys LLP. The building is being built within the framework of the Tengizchevroil LLP program “Igilik”. Construction work is 98% complete. At present, interior decoration is being carried out there. In the 2023-2024 academic year, the facility will be put into operation.

During the working trip, the akim of the region met with the residents of the Tushchykuduk rural district, and on the train he held a reception of citizens on personal matters.

At the meeting, S. Shapkenov made a report on the ongoing work in the rural district, after which he heard the opinions and suggestions of residents. The issue of street lighting is of the greatest relevance here.

“One of the priority issues is electrical networks. This year, 13 km of electrical networks will be laid in the village of Kyzyl Ui. The following should be mentioned here. The rural district is densely populated, in second place after the regional center. Therefore, street lighting is an important issue. According to the akim of the district, the institution carrying out the construction of the road should install lighting along the route. And the akimat of the district plans to illuminate the main streets of the village, and where social facilities are located. Today, design estimates are being developed for these works and financial resources are being requested. We support this plan. Therefore, start work on installing street lighting,” S. Shapkenov said.

At the meeting, the residents raised questions on laying a gas pipeline, building an intra-settlement road, a recreation area, a playground and a kindergarten, healthcare, and employment.

Serik Shapkenov noted that the results of such open meetings with the population will have a positive impact on the development of settlements, including the solution of infrastructure problems. He also noted that it is necessary to put in the first place the issue of building a large number of facilities for children, funds for this will be allocated in the first place. Residents were instructed to strengthen public control to ensure that construction work carried out in the countryside is carried out by contractors with high quality and on time. He also noted that the issues raised at the meeting will be resolved step by step within the framework of the legislation.

5,370 people live in the Tushchykuduk rural district. There are 3 schools, 1 sports complex, 1 kindergarten, 1 outpatient clinic, 1 police station and other social facilities.
