15 voting points deployed at Tengiz field

The headquarters of the election commission received over 18 thousand applications from shift workers in advance for participation in the extraordinary elections of deputies of the Mazhilis and maslikhats of all levels at the Tengiz field. Also, part of the shift workers turned to the precinct commissions at the place of registration and brought with them absentee ballots for voting from different regions of Kazakhstan.

Preparations for voting on the territory of the Tengiz field took several weeks. The polling stations were located in the rotational camps of Tengizchevroil and contractors. To organize uninterrupted and safe voting, the necessary logistics were provided and security measures were strengthened.

In accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the elections of deputies of the Mazhilis and maslikhats of all levels are held openly and publicly. Observers also arrived from the city of Kulsary.
