Makhambet residents provided with drinking water by 98.1%

Akim of the Makhambet district Kairat Nurlybayev announced this, the Regional Communications Service of the Atyrau region reports.

Today, there are 15 water treatment facilities in the district. Currently, 98.1% of the district's population consumes drinking water through a centralized water supply network.

“This year, 11 million 519 thousand tenge has been allocated from the regional budget for water treatment facilities No. 2 in Makhambet village, Akkaiyn village and Yenbekshil village, repair work is underway. And for the development of design and estimate documentation for the reconstruction of water treatment facilities located in other districts, 103 million 322 thousand tenge are provided, a public procurement procedure is being carried out. The projects are scheduled to be completed by May 2023 and receive an expert opinion. There are also six settlements in the district where there are no water treatment facilities. Drinking water is delivered to these settlements by road,” K. Nurlybayev said.

Akim of the district noted that 20 million tenge is provided for the construction of water supply networks in the settlements of Yesmakhan, Kozdikara, Bala Oraz, Atambayev, where there are no water treatment facilities, the estimated project has been fully completed, and an expert opinion is scheduled for 2023.
