Press conference was held at site of Regional Communications Service, dedicated to condition of victims of accident at Tengiz field

The conference was attended by the manager for industrial relations of the company "Senimdi Kurylys" Gulmira Batpanova and the Head of the Department of Healthcare region Askhan Baidualiyev.

First of all, Gulmira Batpanova expressed her condolences to the families of the victims and announced that the company had provided financial assistance for the commemoration of the deceased employees.

"Material assistance in the amount of 500 thousand tenge was allocated for the organization of a commemoration for those who died during the tragedy. All necessary material support will be provided within the framework of the current legislation. If the dead have loans, we repay them in full. All conditions for learning and development will be created for their children."

According to Gulmira Batpanova, hydraulic testing of pipelines is regularly carried out at the field.

"This is the first time we are facing such a tragedy. To clarify the circumstances of the incident, a special commission has been created, a thorough check is being carried out. Until its completion, work at the plant is suspended, - says the manager for industrial relations of the Senimdi Kurylys company."

According to the Head of the Department of Healthcare of the region, Askhan Baidualiyev, one injured employee is now in the regional hospital.

"The victim at the time of the incident was taken to the regional hospital on an aircraft belonging to Tengizchevroil LLP. Now he is in the intensive care unit. Severe condition. Diagnosis and treatment of injuries of internal organs. The second worker was taken to the Zhylyoy district hospital and underwent a full examination. On July 6, he was discharged home on a handwritten receipt. Despite this, he is under the supervision of doctors. The third victim was provided psychological assistance by the staff of the medical institution "TCO Clinic" at the field. Today she was sent home," the Head of the Department of Healthcare of the region states.
