Atyrau region is gasified by 99.7%

Akim of the Atyrau region Makhambet Dosmukhambetov told about this at the event dedicated to the Day of the First President, the Regional Communications Service of the Atyrau region reports.

“In the early 90s, gas was only in the city of Kulsary and the village of Inderbor, and in 1995, work began on gas supply to the city of Atyrau and all settlements of the region.

Since then, 3,900 km of gas networks have been built in the region. Thus, the level of provision of the region's population with natural gas increased from 12 percent to 99.7 percent.

About two and a half thousand (2,480) kilometers of drinking water networks have been built, the provision of centralized water supply has increased from 35 to 99%,” the head of the region Makhambet Dosmukhambetov said.
