MAKHAMBET DOSMUKHAMBETOV MEETS THE MANAGEMENT OF CHEVRON COMPANY

Akim of Atyrau region Makhambet Dosmukhambetov met with the President for exploration and production in the Eurasian-Pacific region of the Chevron company Nigel Hearne, the Press Service of the akim of the region said.

During the meeting, the progress of projects implemented in the region with the participation of Chevron was discussed.

Akim of the region Makhambet Dosmukhambetov noted the role of the company as a major investor in the economy of the region and the country as a whole, expressing confidence in the successful continuation of the existing effective partnership.

Also, he thanked for the active participation of Tengizchevroil LLP, the main shareholder of which is Chevron, in the implementation of social and infrastructure projects useful for the population of Atyrau.

In particular, Tengizchevroil has provided great support in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.

In turn, Nigel Hearne stressed that projects in the Atyrau region are of great importance for Chevron. He also noted with gratitude the all-round support provided by the regional akimat in curbing the spread of coronavirus in the Tengiz field, establishing strict sanitary requirements, and maintaining a stable epidemiological situation. He emphasized that, in general, the established relationship of trust between the management of the company and local executive bodies has a positive effect on the effective solution of industrial and social issues, which serves the benefit of the region's population.
