Akim of Atyrau region Makhambet Dosmukhambetov performed the ritual “tusau keser” for pupils of a specialized orphanage, the Press Service of the Akim of Atyrau region said.

The head of the region visited a specialized orphanage subordinate to the regional Department of Healthcare, congratulating his pupils on June 1 - International Children's Day. Here he performed the ritual "tusau keser" of two pupils of this institution, wishing them a bright path in life. And the veterans gave them their blessings. One of the children, a foundling, left without parental care, another one was temporarily handed over to the center by his mother, who is unable to support the child, since she herself is a person with disabilities.

“These children, many of whom have been deprived of maternal love and warmth from birth, need care more than anyone else. I wish that soon you will find your families, grow up as worthy citizens of your native country.

We must create conditions and give a festive mood to our children not only today, but every day,” said the regional akim Makhambet Dosmukhambetov.

As a spectator, the head of the region listened to several numbers of the concert program "We are the flowers of life", where the children demonstrated their art.

Then he got acquainted with the living conditions of the kids and talked with the leadership of the social institution. According to its head Raisa Baimukhanova, 23 children under the age of 4 with various diseases are being brought up here now. Children have central nervous system damage, delayed speech development and cerebral palsy.

High-quality and timely child care is provided by 50 employees of a social institution.

“This holiday has a special meaning for workers responsible for the all-round development of the growing generation. I am sure that you are deeply aware of the responsible mission entrusted to you - the upbringing of a happy generation capable of becoming the pride of an independent country. I express my deep gratitude for your tireless work in this field,” the head of the region said, thus noting the merits of the employees of the social institution.

Also, inmates of the orphanage were presented with holiday gifts on behalf of the regional akim.

For your information, over the past year one of the pupils of the specialized orphanage was adopted, six were returned to their blood families, one child was transferred to the family-type children's village “Shanyrak”.
