Commission on the results of the nomination and registration of party
lists of candidates for deputies of maslikhats
Atyrau city December 11, 2020
In the upcoming election campaign, 141 deputies of 9 maslikhats in Atyrau region are to be elected. Of these: 31 deputies of the regional maslikhat, 24 deputies of the Atyrau city maslikhat, 86 deputies in 7 maslikhats of regions.
In accordance with the Calendar plans of the main events for the preparation and conduct of the next elections, the nomination of maslikhat deputies began on November 10, 2020 and ended at 6 p.m. local time on December 4, 2020.
Registration of party lists in maslikhats began on November 10, 2020 and ended at 6 p.m. local time on December 10, 2020.
35 party lists (334 candidates) of 5 political parties were presented to the election commissions of the Atyrau region:
9 - NurOtan party (249 candidates),
5 - NDPP "Auyl" (18 candidates);
9 - DPK "Ak Zhol" (38 candidates);
9 - Political Party "ADAL" (19 candidates);
3 - People's Party of Kazakhstan (10 candidates).
Average competitiveness is 2.4 people per place.
Including lists of 4 political parties, 62 candidates in the maslikhat of the region;
the maslikhat of the city of Atyrau lists 4 political parties, 49 candidates;
27 lists, 223 candidates are presented to maslikhats of districts.
The documents are submitted by political parties in accordance with the requirements of the Constitutional Law on Elections.
146 party lists include women and persons under 29 years old, i.e. the 30% quota has been met.
The youngest candidate is a 20-year-old representative of the ADAL political party.
Election commissions, together with authorized state bodies, carried out a check of persons included in the party list for compliance with the requirements of the Constitution and the Constitutional Law on Elections.

In addition, in connection with the received application of a candidate for deputy of the Atyrau city maslikhat, a decision was made to exclude 1 person from the party lists of the People's Party of Kazakhstan.
In accordance with the Constitutional Law, all political parties have paid an electoral fee.
Party lists registered (333 candidates):
9 - NurOtan party (249 candidates),
5 - NDPP "Auyl" (18 candidates);
9 - DPK "Ak Zhol" (38 candidates);
9 - Political Party "ADAL" (19 candidates);
3 - People's Party of Kazakhstan (9 candidates).
Information on registration of party lists was sent to the authorized body to verify the accuracy of information on income and property declared by candidates and their spouses.
And also, messages on the results of registration of party lists of candidates for deputies of maslikhats of all levels are published on the website atyrau.gov.kz in the "elections" section.
During the period of nomination and registration, no appeals and complaints were received.
