Preschool education

Preschool organizations network - 330:

- 201 kindergartens: public - 145, private - 56

- 129 mini-centers, of which 9 are private.

Coverage of children with organizations of preschool education:

- at the age of 1-6 years old - 63%

- at the age of 3-6 years old - 98.1%.

General secondary education

There are 196 state general education schools in the region, of which 176 are secondary, 8 are basic, 12 are primary.

The contingent of students - 129,888, increased by 6825 students compared to last year.

Also, 1078 students study in 5 private schools.

The number of teachers in secondary schools of the region is 11,209. Of these, 10,008 (89.0%) - with higher education, 1201 (11.0%) - with secondary specialized education, 1078 (96.1%) - specialists with the highest category, 1375 (12.2%) - from the first, 1528 (13.6%) - from the second category.

88 teachers-masters, 1634 teachers-researchers, 1766 teachers-experts, 1401 teachers-moderators. The overall qualitative composition is 53%.

Number of 3 shift schools - 12

Organizations of additional education - 45, the number of children covered - 31,440 (24%).

In 14 organizations of additional education, 17,753 students are covered by free additional education.

In the region, all students covered by hot meals - 64 705 (98%): of them students in grades 1-4 - 60 895 (100%); children from socially disadvantaged families studying in grades 5-11 - 3,810.

Of the 5225 graduates of secondary schools in the 2018-2019 academic year, 3834 (73.2%) participated in the UNT.

On September 1, 2019-2020 academic year, 16318 children were admitted to the first grade.

In the region, there are 57 robotics classrooms with a coverage of 1220 students. Today there are 22 STEM laboratories in operation. Also in the city of Atyrau, an IT lyceum was created with coverage of 403 students.

Of the 196 schools, 192 (98%) are connected to broadband internet.

183 schools (94.8%) are connected to the unified information system of electronic journals and diaries "Kundelik", of which 62 are urban, 121 are rural.

Today in the region 178 (91.7%) kindergartens out of 194 are connected to the system "Automation of the formation and activities of priority and the process of issuing a voucher in the organization of preschool education."

In the region, 184 schools (94.8%) out of 196 are connected to the system "Automation of the admission process to grade 1".

Special education

339 children are covered in 3 special correctional organizations.

In the 2019-2020 academic year - 6962 children in need of special education (school age - 4787, preschool age - 2175).

In the region, the number of orphans and children left without parental care is 465. Of these, 417 are in custody and guardianship, 14 are in foster care, 116 are in boarding schools of all types.

Inclusive education

In 159 general education schools (22%) 978 children are covered by inclusive education.

Summer rest

In 2019, 97.7% of students in the region are covered by summer vacations and health improvement.

Technical and vocational education

In the field of organizations of technical and vocational education - 25, of which 17 are state colleges, 8 are private; 20 of them are located in urban areas, 5 - in rural areas.

The number of students is 14 780, including 12 852 - in full-time study, 1766 - in correspondence, 162 - in the evening.

Dual education continued in 15 colleges.

4,068 students graduated from correspondence courses, of which 91.7% were employed at the end of the year, 92.3% were employed in general.

The number of teachers in the region's schools is 10,768. Of these, 9547 with higher education, 1221 with secondary vocational education, 2034 with the highest category, 3214 with the first category, 2840 with the second category.

In the region in 180 secondary schools 61,388 students are provided with hot meals. Of these, 58,046 children are in grades 1-4; 7911 children from socially disadvantaged families studying in grades 5-11

In the 2018-2019 academic year, 16,457 children were admitted to the first grade.

The number of schools with new modification rooms (physics, chemistry, biology, language multimedia) is 179.

At 117 general education schools, 824 children are covered by inclusive education.

Technical and vocational education

The network of organizations of technical and vocational education -25 (state colleges - 17, private colleges - 8).

Contingent – 15,695 students (in public colleges – 10,450, in private colleges – 5,246), of which 13,672 - full-time study, 1,929 - part-time, 95 - evening

In the region, a dual training system has been introduced in 15 educational institutions in 21 specialties.

Preschool education

In the first half of 2017, the share of preschool children from 3 to 6 years old covered by the updated educational content is 86.6%.

For 2016 and the first half of 2017, reducing the deficit of places in preschool education organizations is possible by increasing the network:

- due to the sponsorship construction of 6 kindergarten units;

- 13 units of private preschool organizations (5 kindergartens, 8 developing mini-center);

- 1 unit of kindergarten through public-private partnership;

- 1 unit of kindergarten by repairing other buildings.

In the region, 136 preschool organizations have placed a state order for 14073 children (of which: in 14 state organizations for 761 children).

On the basis of public-private partnership, 3 private kindergartens were opened in the city of Atyrau, in the city of Kulsary, Zhylyoy district, private entrepreneur M. Mergaliyev, having completed the construction of a kindergarten for 165 children, handed over to the akimat of Kulsary.

These measures made it possible to achieve the coverage of children 1-6 years old up to 61.1% (2015 - 54.5%, 2016 - 56.9%), children 3-6 years old 86.6% (2015w. -82.6 %, 2016 - 85.1%).

Since September 1, 2016, the educational process in all organizations of preschool education is carried out on the basis of the "State Compulsory Standard for Preschool Education and Training" (approved by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 1080 dated August 23, 2012, amended by Resolution No. 292 dated May 13, 2016).

Advanced training courses for teachers of preschool education organizations are organized by the Institute for Advanced Studies "Orleu" and the Republican Institute. During the reporting period, 671 employees of preschool education organizations completed the courses. This is 20.1% of all teachers. Of these, 410 (61.1%) are educators, 96 (14.3%) are teachers of other specialties, 82 (12.2%) are managers, 83 (12.4%) are methodologists.

Secondary education

There are 192 schools in the region, the contingent of students is 109,392. In addition, there are 1 evening school (209 students), 2 private schools "Tagylym" and "Senim", an elite school-garden (284 students). Out of 192 schools, 135 are rural schools (70.3%), 33 small schools (17.1%), the contingent of 1693 students (1.5%).

Last year the contingent of students was 103,917, this year the contingent increased to 5 thousand students (109,392 students).

Schools of the region are 100% provided with computer technicians. There are 7 students per computer.

In the region, 188 schools (97.9%) are connected to the Internet, of which 164 schools (88%) are connected to broadband Internet.

2016 by order No. 536 of August 29, 2016 of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Atyrau region of 134 schools to the pylon project "Unified information system of electronic journals and diaries for students of educational organizations of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Kundelik".

This year, according to the results of the Unified National Testing, the average score of graduates is 71.9 (2016 - 70). 97 graduates became the owners of "Altyn Belgi", 59 graduates of "Uzdik certificate".

As part of the renewal of the content of education, 2,244 teachers took advanced training courses. 174 teachers of the subject of the natural and mathematical cycle (physics, chemistry, biology, computer science) underwent advanced training courses on the vendor of trilingualism.

In the region, the issues of emergency and three-shift schools are being resolved.

At this time, there are 6 emergency schools in the region (a secondary school for 120 student places in the Akzhaiyk village of Atyrau, M. Monkeuly Secondary School for 100 student places in the Kurylys village of Inder district, a Secondary School for 120 student places in the Akkala village of Inder district, Grebenshchik Secondary School for 120 students in Yntymak village of Inder district, Secondary School for 250 students in Bereke village of Makhambet district, Labay Secondary School for 80 students in Zhalgyzapan village of Kurmangazy district) construction is underway on the listed schools.

 

Problematic issues

There are 9 schools in Atyrau with the probability of switching to 3-shift education. In this connection, it is necessary to unload 9 schools (No. 32, STG, No. 34, No. 22, No. 15, No. 16, No. 24, No. 30, No. 3 of Atyrau) and the construction of new standard 9 schools in Atyrau city. Akimat of Atyrau region sent a letter to the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan (No. 01-04-2/ ​2493, 28.03.2017) about the need to build 9 schools.

 

Coverage of students with additional education

The coverage of additional education (in organizations of additional education, summer recreation camps, school hobby groups) in the 2015-2016 academic year amounted to 44.8%, in the 2016-2017 academic year - 52.01%.

 

Special and inclusive education

In the 2016-2017 academic year, the number of children with disabilities is 5,945.

Of 2188 children of preschool age, 1,443 children (66.0%) are covered by preschool education, out of 3,757 children of school age, 3,382 (90.0%) are covered by school education.

Conditions have been created for receiving inclusive education for 697 children from 115 secondary schools.

 

Providing students with hot meals

In the 2016-2017 academic year, in the 180th school, hot meals were organized for 106,309 (99.3%) students in grades 1-11. Children from low-income families are provided with 100% free meals.

 

Technical and vocational education

In 2016, there were 25 educational institutions of technical and vocational education (17 state, 1 subordinate, 7 non-state). They trained 18022 students in 71 specialties, 138 qualifications

Elements of a dual education system have been introduced in 15 educational institutions for which training is conducted in the specialties of construction, oil and gas, chemistry, communications.

Specialists in 23 specialties have been trained for dual training. A contract has been drawn up with 48 companies.

In the region, 3 educational institutions of technical and vocational education were accredited.

In 2016, 8.2 million tenge was allocated from the local budget for the ramp.

 

In the first half of 2017, there are 25 educational institutions of technical and vocational education. 17,402 students studied in them, of which 7486 (41%) people were ordered by the state. The number of students at the age of 14-24 is 15,556. In the region, the number of young people of this age is 96,058.

In 2017, in order to provide students with colleges located in the city of Atyrau, a dormitory of 1 college (muses college) is being built, it is planned to build a dormitory for 5 colleges. Design and estimate documents are ready.

In the region, elements of dual education have been introduced in 15 educational institutions.

This system trained 979 students in 23 specialties with the participation of 84 enterprises.
